Porcelain Crowns (Caps)

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth restoring it to its original shape and size.  A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations while improving its appearance.

There are several types of crowns.  With old technology, dental crowns always needed to be made with a metal foundation.  Today, we can make them out of pure porcelain or ceramics.  They are highly durable and will last many years, but like most dental restorations, they may eventually need to be replaced.  Porcelain crowns are made to match the shape, size, and color of your teeth giving you a natural, long-lasting beautiful smile.

There are many reasons for crowns: broken or fractured teeth, cosmetic enhancement, decayed teeth, fractured or large filings, or if a tooth has a root canal.

Porcelain Fixed Bridges

One or more missing teeth can adversely affect the appearance and functionality of your smile.  Missing teeth can cause a change in your bite, shifting of the teeth, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), change the facial shape, cause speech impediments, and increase the risk for periodontal disease and tooth decay.

Dental bridges are highly durable and will last many years with proper care and regular check up visits at the dentist.

Dental Implants

Dental implants titanium artificial roots and teeth that are surgically placed into the upper or lower jaw bone.  It is a fixed solution to having removable partial or complete dentures.  Implants provide excellent support and stability for tooth replacement or for a full denture.  Dental implants are very strong, stable, and durable and will last many years.

Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers are very thin pieces of durable, tooth-shaped ceramic material that, when applied over the surface of the tooth can cover worn tooth enamel, misaligned teeth or spacing and chips and cracks.  Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile.  They are very strong and can last many years giving you a lifelong beautiful smile.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening (or bleaching) is a process that lightens discolored teeth.  It is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to lighten the natural tooth enamel and a quick and easy way to brighten and beautify your smile.

We offer two convenient ways to lighten your teeth to achieve a beautiful smile.

Take Home Whitening:  Take home whitening is a two appointment procedure.  The first appointment involves taking molds of your teeth to fabricate custom, clear plastic trays.  This is a very easy and short appointment.  Within a day your custom trays will be ready to be properly fit and adjustments made if necessary.  The trays are worn with special whitening solution for 7-10 consecutive nights from 1 hour up to overnight.  It is normal to experience some tooth sensitivity during the time you are whitening but will subside as soon as you completed your whitening.

Zoom Whitening:  Zoom! Is a whitening process that lightens discoloration of enamel.  This procedure is completed in less than 1 hour.  The whitening process is completed in the dental office.  The Zoom! Light activated whitening gel’s active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide.  As the Hydrogen Peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel, bleaching colored substances while the structure of the tooth is unchanged.  The Zoom! Light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface to the tooth.   The Zoom! Light helps with the effectiveness of the special whitening solution giving an average improvement of up to eight shades.
